The Community Sector Council of Nova Scotia (CSCNS) like many of you is hunkering down and reflecting on how to respond to the global pandemic. We are taking a number of immediate steps that include:
- Postponing the event to called “A Billion Reasons to Celebrate” that we had scheduled for March 31st. We will reschedule for the fall and at that time we will officially launch the APEC Report on the Nonprofit Sector and celebrate the contributions and accomplishments of the Sector. No doubt we will have even more to celebrate and reflect on at that time as we respond to the challenges.
- We are also cancelling any ED Networks and other face-to-face events until the end of April and will reassess when we can safely begin offering programs again.
In the meantime we are reflecting on how we can best support the Sector as we collectively navigate in these uncertain times. We will be tracking the impact of challenges resulting from COVID 19 for the Sector, as well as facilitating communications between the Sector and government, business and the public and providing resources. We hope the information below will be helpful and if you would like more information or have other ideas for how we can work with and for you please let us know.
