Exciting Announcement and Invitation

The Community Sector Council of Nova Scotia (CSCNS) is excited to announce that it is undertaking two significant initiatives. One is a State of the Sector Survey that will examine labour force challenges and give us a deeper collective appreciation of the context we work within. The second initiative is a series of multi-stakeholder consultations, including environmental scanning, that will lead to the development of a new strategic plan for the CSCNS.

These initiatives are designed to bring the sector together to share and to celebrate its richness, its importance, its diversity, its potential, and its impact on the social and economic well-being of communities across Nova Scotia. They will also be an opportunity for you to give voice to the topics that are important to you.

The CSCNS will be reaching out to organizations across the sector, of all sizes and mandates, to collect insights, reflections, and information. The focus will be on determining what makes us strong today as a sector, and on identifying what we need to be a healthy, sustainable, and innovative sector into the future.

Your participation is vital. Every voice and every experience is important! The CSCNS will be sharing the results of these initiatives with you and other partners, collaborators, policy makers, and funders to the sector. Your feedback will influence the goals and priorities of the Community Sector Council of Nova Scotia.

Over the next few weeks, some of you will receive a survey or a request for an interview, others an invitation to a consultation session. The CSCNS would like to thank you in advance for your participation and for sharing your wisdom; together we thrive.
